Stephanie Olmo is an experienced educator with a strong academic and professional background in business and education. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
With 18 years of instructional experience, Stephanie has worked extensively with students to develop practical knowledge, critical thinking, and real-world skills. Her teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts accessible and engaging, helping students build confidence in areas such as business fundamentals, personal finance, and college readiness.
Stephanie is passionate about preparing teens for success beyond high school by equipping them with the financial literacy, business insight, and decision-making skills needed to thrive in college, careers, and life.

Is your teen feeling overwhelmed by the thought of writing college application essays? Do you want them to get a jump start this summer so they can hit the ground running in their senior year? This 4-day workshop will prepare students for the college application season!
Your teen will learn the common types of essays asked for in college applications, learn the approaches and themes that have proven successful, and what to avoid. We will analyze and review essays from successful applicants. Writing time is provided during the boot camp with guided feedback so students leave with completed essays.

This advanced course introduces students to key concepts in business, economics, and personal finance while developing analytical and decision-making skills that prepare them for college-level coursework and the AP exam. Students explore how businesses operate, how markets function, and how individuals make financial decisions in a complex economic environment.
The course covers core topics including entrepreneurship, business strategy, marketing fundamentals, financial management, and economic principles. Students also gain a strong foundation in personal finance, learning how to budget, manage credit, understand taxes, evaluate investments, and plan for long-term financial goals.
Through case studies, discussions, and applied projects, students analyze real-world business situations and practice strategic thinking. Specific AP practice tests for those opting to take the AP test, although it is not required as part of the course.
